In Hold'em your hand is the best five of seven: two hole cards plus the board. Read both hands, tap the winner — or call the split.
Three rules do all the work: compare the category first, then the ranks inside it; the kicker (your highest side card) breaks ties; and if the board itself is the best five for everyone — the pot splits.
